X-180 Weathered Wood Restorer from ABR Products Inc. is a biodegradable, safe wood brightener and cleaner that takes away years of discoloration from dirt mildew and fungus accumulations, as well as exposure to environmental pollutants and sunlight.
X-180 Weathered Wood Restorer cleans and restores wood surfaces back to the original look, before exposure. X-180 also removes mill glaze that is often found on recently milled wood.
X-180 Weathered Wood Restorer is the perfect cleaner for brightening and restoration of all types of discolored wood fences, decks, siding, shakes, logs, and mill glaze removal.

Application of X-180 Weathered Wood Restorer
- Spray the surface with clean water.
- Mix X-180 Weathered Wood Restorer according to manufacturer’s directions.
- Apply from bottom to top with a pump-up sprayer. Make sure the surface is fully saturated.
- Allow the cleaner to sit on the surface for 15-20 minutes. Scrub any areas that have pollen, dirt, or mildew collected on the surface with a stiff bristle brush.
- Rinse top to bottom with a pressure washer at no more than 500 psi. Rinse until all the foam residue is gone, and then rinse one more time.
- Test the rinse water with pH strips to make sure the cleaner is completely removed. Check pH strips to make sure rinse water is between 6.5 and 7.
- Allow the wood to dry for 3-5 dry, warm days before applying fence finish. Make sure to check the wood with a moisture meter before applying the wood finish.
Clean Up
- Use water to flush shrubbery, sidewalks, blacktop, asphalt, equipment, and all adjacent surfaces immediately upon contact.
Limitations
- X-180 will not remove any paint, stain, or clear finish that is in good condition.
- May dull painted and metal surfaces if it is not rinsed off quickly.
- X-180 will not bring back the natural wood color to pressure-treated green lumber since its color was previously lost in the original pressure treatment.
Precautions
- X-180 Weathered Wood Restorer is very slippery when applied to wood surfaces.
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear safety goggles and rubber gloves. Always wear fully protective clothing when using X-180.
- Be careful about wind drift onto cars and bystanders when rinsing or applying X-180 Weathered Wood Restorer.
- Completely protect all adjacent surfaces, especially aluminum.
- Do not allow X-180 Weathered Wood Restorer to splash or dry onto adjacent surfaces. Immediately rinse with water any residue that comes in contact with adjacent surfaces.
Storage
- Best to store in a climate-controlled space.
- Do not allow exposure to direct sun.
- Do not allow it to freeze
- Shelf Life-The product will over time develop crystals that will need warming to melt. The effectiveness should not diminish as long as the container is sealed. An unopened container should be good for 2 years.
